Maxthon (portable) is een veelzijdige webbrowser die gebruikmaakt van layout-engine WebKit. Voor websites die niet compatibel zijn met WebKit kan er gewisseld worden naar de Trident-modus, waarbij websites worden geladen zoals in Internet Explorer.

Maxthon, voorheen bekend als MyIE2, is ook beschikbaar voor Android als Maxthon Mobile. Maxthon wonde CNET WebWare 100 Awards in 2008 and 2009 en stond in de PCWorld’s lijst met de 100 Beste Producten van 2011. Verder staat Maxthon bovenaan de lijst van HTML5Test.com, een website die browsers test op basis van hun ondersteuning voor HTML5 en gerelateerde specificaties.
