Morgan M-JPEG codec is een video-codec dat je de mogelijkheid biedt om M-JPEG AVI bestanden af te spelen (die zijn gemaakt met verschillende types video capture cards) zonder de specifieke hardware codec.
Ook is real-time video-capturing naar M-JPEG formaat mogelijk met de Morgan Codec, zelfs als je capture hardware de M-JPEG compressie niet ondersteunt.
