MovieFinder is a film inventory app that links with IMDB.com to provide extended information.
It is written in Java and so requires the Java Runtime Environment. Simply type in the name, press Enter then choose from the IMDb.com search results; all movie information and a cover image are automatically downloaded.
If your movie collection is stored on your hard drives it can launch the default media player to play films too.
When narrowing down movies you're interested in, Movie Finder will let you keep a temporary list of 'Selections' which you can whittle down as you watch new releases or eliminate movies from the list as you see fit.
NOTE: This portable version includes no installer.
