DirectX Remover is a tool that can be used to remove DirectX from your Windows system.
It allows you to remove DirectX from your system (supports versions 1x - 8x) completely, including bogus or beta installations. You can then proceed to install the latest DirectX version once your system has been cleaned of the previous installations.
