Mp3tag is een krachtige en gebruikersvriendelijke tool voor het bewerken van tags van MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Musepack, Monkey's Audio, FLAC en WavPack bestanden. Het programma kan bestanden van naam wijzigen, gebaseerd op de informatie van de tag, het vervangen van een woord of woorden van tags en bestandsnamen, importeren/exporteren van tag informatie, creeeren van afspeellijsten en meer.
Het programma ondersteunt het zoeken naar informatie voor geselecteerde bestanden op Amazon, discogs en enfreedb, waardoor je automatisch de correcte taggegevens verzamelt voor je bestanden.
